1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, accessing, or using the SnapMeal application or website ("Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms") and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the Platform.
These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and SnapMeal Technologies Ltd, a company incorporated in Nigeria. Our services are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, including the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Act (FCCPA) and the Nigeria Data Protection Regulation (NDPR).
2. Use of the Platform
You may use SnapMeal only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:

3. User Accounts
To use certain features of SnapMeal, you must create an account. You agree to:
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.
4. Ordering & Delivery
When you place an order through SnapMeal, you enter into a contract with the restaurant for the supply of food items. SnapMeal acts as a platform facilitating this transaction and arranging delivery.
**Order Confirmation:** Your order is confirmed when the restaurant accepts it. We will notify you of the acceptance.
**Delivery Times:** Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide only and may vary based on factors including distance, restaurant preparation time, and traffic conditions.
**Order Accuracy:** While we take care to present accurate menu information, item availability may change. The restaurant is responsible for the accuracy and quality of food prepared.
**Cancellations:** You may cancel your order within 2 minutes of placing it, before the restaurant confirms acceptance.
5. Payments & Refunds
**Payment Processing:** All payments are processed by our licensed payment partners. By providing payment information, you authorise us to charge the total amount displayed at checkout.
**SnapMeal Wallet:** Wallet balances are non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash, except upon account closure (subject to verification).
**Refunds:** Refunds for valid disputes are processed within 2–5 business days to your original payment method or SnapMeal Wallet. We reserve the right to investigate all refund requests.
**Pricing:** All prices are displayed in Nigerian Naira (₦) and include applicable taxes where required by law. Delivery fees are shown separately at checkout.
6. Prohibited Conduct
The following conduct is strictly prohibited on our Platform:
Violation of these prohibitions may result in immediate account suspension, legal action, and/or financial liability for damages caused.
7. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Nigerian law, SnapMeal and its officers, directors, employees, and agents shall not be liable for:
Our total liability for any claim arising from your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to SnapMeal in the three months preceding the claim.
Nothing in these Terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud.
8. Governing Law & Disputes
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or the use of our Platform shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to mediation, and thereafter to arbitration in Enugu, Nigeria, under the Arbitration and Conciliation Act.
You also have the right to bring complaints to the Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC) or relevant consumer protection authorities in Nigeria.
